Privacy Policy
This website is built to collect as little data as possible. The short version: tournaments stay in your browser until you decide to share them live. There are no cookies and no requests to third parties.

Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, with a data processing agreement; no data is transferred to third countries. When you open a page, the web server processes technical data needed to deliver it (IP address, time, requested page, browser type). Addresses are shortened in the logs and logs are kept only for a short time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Our own application server keeps no access log and writes no IP addresses to disk; to limit abuse it counts requests per address in memory only, in shortened form, for up to one hour.
Your tournaments in the browser
Names, results and settings are stored in the local storage of your browser so that your tournaments are still there when you come back. This is required for the tool to work, contains no tracking and can be deleted at any time through your browser settings or with the Delete button. As long as you do not share a tournament, nothing is sent to our server.
Shared tournaments (Share live)
When you press Share live, the tournament (its name, the participant names, the format and all results) is stored on our server in Germany. This happens only on your action. Each shared tournament gets a random ID for the public link and a random secret key for the edit link. We store only a hash of the key; the key itself is part of the edit link after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server. Please do not enter personal data of third parties unless you may do so, and prefer first names or team names. The legal basis is performance of the service you request, a contract of use (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The server also notes when a shared tournament was last opened, to delete it after 12 months. Anyone who has the public link can see all names in it. A shared tournament is deleted when you delete it, and automatically after 12 months without a visit. Open public pages receive changes through a connection that stays open (server-sent events); no cookies are involved.
Embedded tournaments
If a website embeds a tournament, the visitor's browser loads the embedded page from our server and our server sees the IP address like any web server does. We set no cookies there, load nothing from third parties and do not use the analytics in the embedded frame.
Cookies and third parties
We set no cookies. Fonts, scripts and icons are served from this website itself. We do not embed content from third parties, so no consent banner is needed.
Anonymous analytics
We use Matomo, which we run ourselves on our own server in Germany, to count page views. Matomo runs here without cookies and without browser fingerprinting, honors the Do-Not-Track setting of your browser and records no visitor profile. Requests from automated browsers are not counted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object at any time with the switch below, by switching on Do Not Track in your browser or by writing to us.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under the GDPR, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to us at the e-mail address above.
